Questa Informativa descrive le modalità di raccolta e utilizzo di dati e informazioni adottate da Purina Institute. Questa Informativa si applica esclusivamente ai siti e alle app che la riportano e non si applica a siti o app in cui non è presente. Questa Informativa non si applica neppure alle attività operative generali di Nestlé Purina Global Resources Inc. e in altre circostanze. Infine, non disciplina le procedure di gestione delle informazioni ottenute dai dipendenti di Purina Institute. 

Informazioni raccolte

Informazioni di contatto e informazioni sull'account. Possiamo ottenere il nome e l'indirizzo dell'utente, e anche il suo numero di telefono, il suo indirizzo e-mail la sua posizione lavorativa e il nome della sua azienda. Le informazioni fornite dall'utente sono utilizzate per creare un account o un profilo. Raccogliamo anche candidature spontanee o curriculum vitae inviati da chi desidera candidarsi per una posizione lavorativa. Acquisiamo i numeri di licenza dei veterinari che si registrano sul nostro sito.  

Informazioni relative ai feedback. Acquisiamo i feedback dei clienti sui prodotti Purina e quelli eventualmente condivisi sui nostri eventi. Gli utenti possono condividere questi contenuti attraverso recensioni, foto o altri supporti. 

Informazioni sulla posizione dell'utente. Possiamo acquisire anche le informazioni sulla posizione dell'utente, come il luogo esatto in cui si trova o la sua città o il codice postale. 

Informazioni sull'utilizzo del sito e sul dispositivo. Possiamo acquisire informazioni sul browser utilizzato dall'utente quando accede ai nostri siti. Analizziamo inoltre il tempo di permanenza sui nostri siti e i contenuti visualizzati. Possiamo poi acquisire informazioni sul sistema operativo dell'utente sui dispositivi hardware che utilizza. Possiamo anche acquisire indirizzi IP o identificativi del dispositivo, verificare il sito di provenienza dell'utente o a quale sito accederà dopo il nostro e acquisire informazioni sull'operatore dei servizi di telefonia mobile dell'utente.

Finalità aziendali per la raccolta di informazioni

Utilizziamo le informazioni per comunicare con l'utente e per rispondere alle sue domande e ai suoi commenti. Inoltre, possiamo comunicare con l'utente sul rapporto che ha con la nostra azienda. Raccogliamo le informazioni al momento della registrazione, ad esempio in caso di registrazione a un evento. Raccogliamo le informazioni anche tramite sondaggi e social media. 

Le informazioni possono essere ottenute anche in modo passivo. Utilizziamo strumenti di tracciamento quali cookie, pixel e web beacon sui nostri siti Web e nelle e-mail che inviamo all'utente. Tali sistemi sono presenti anche negli annunci pubblicati su altri siti o piattaforme. Raccogliamo le informazioni sugli utenti nel tempo quando usano il nostro sito Web.

Tutela dei minori

I siti e le app in cui compare la presente Informativa sono destinati a soggetti adulti. Non raccogliamo in modo consapevole informazioni personali di bambini. We collect license numbers from veterinarians who register with us. In some cases, we may share this information for the purpose noted above. 

Feedback information. We collect your feedback about your experience with Purina products. We also collect feedback you may share about our events. You may share this in reviews or through photos or other media.

Location information. We may collect information about your location. This may include your precise location if you request to know suggested stores or directions of where to purchase product. It may include your city or zip code. In some cases, we may share this information for the purpose noted above.

Site usage and device information. We may collect information about the browser you are using when you use our sites. We also look at how long you stay on our sites and what content you view. We may also collect information about your operating system or hardware model. We may also collect IP addresses or device identifiers. We may share information for cross-contextual behavioral advertising. We may share information with third parties in order to provide cross-contextual behavioral advertising. In the Notice at Collection (above) we outlined which categories of information are shared for cross-contextual behavioral advertising.

We will transfer information with any successor to all or part of our business. In the event that Purina or its assets are acquired by or merged with another company, we may share all categories of information as part of that transaction. This acquisition or merger may include part of our business or one of our brands. This may occur in the event of bankruptcy.

We provide information if we think we have to in order to comply with the law or to protect ourselves. For example, we may share all categories information to respond to a court order or subpoena. We will share information if a government agency or regulatory body requests it. This includes U.S. and non-U.S. law enforcement or regulatory authorities.

We Combine Information

We combine information about you that we have collected offline with information we collect online. We combine information across devices. This includes computers and mobile devices. We combine information about you we get from different sources. This includes combining information we get from another company with information we already have.

 

Your Choices and Rights

You can opt out of marketing emails. To stop receiving our promotional emails follow the instructions in any promotional email you get from us. If you opt out of marketing emails, you will still get transactional emails. These include emails about your relationship with us or about your account.

You will also find our Do Not Track Policy there. The Notice of Rights to Opt-Out of Sale/Sharing below also describes how to manage your choices for cross-contextual behavioral advertising.  

EU and UK Residents. Certain additional rights exist if European law applies. These include rights to access, update or correct your information. These rights may also include requesting a portable copy of your information. These rights may also include requesting that we delete your information or that we restrict how we process your information. It may also apply if you object to profiling or direct marketing. You can also withdraw your consent. (See above for details.) You may also be able to object to having your information used for other purposes. You also have the right to direct complaints about our privacy practices to your local Data Protection Authority. To exercise your rights you can contact us as noted below.

Certain residents’ rights. If you live in California or Virginia, or a state with a similar law, you may have certain additional legal rights. This includes the right to ask us what information we collect and use and what information we share or sell to third parties. It also includes the right to ask us to delete information we have collected from you. It also includes the right to fix or update information you have provided to us. To exercise these rights, contact us at 800-778-7462, or email us. We will ask you to give us information you provided when you registered with us to verify your identity. If you are submitting on someone else’s behalf we may ask for additional verification. This may include providing a signed letter verifying your right to make this request. We will not discriminate against you because you have exercised any of these rights.


Notice of Right to Opt-out of Sale/Sharing: Under California law we are required to tell you if we "sell" information. While we do not believe we engage in “selling” information, it is possible that certain of our sharing activity may be viewed as a sale. We do not sell information of Californians under 16. You can opt out of this activity by visiting the Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page. You can also opt out by calling us at 800-778-7462. Some browsers or browser extensions also allow you to tell websites not to share your information for cross-contextual behavioral advertising through the “global privacy control” or equivalent signal. We will respond to this kind of signal in a frictionless manner. Nevada residents’ rights. We have disclosure obligations in Nevada. We do not exchange Nevada residents’ personal information for money.  Nevada residents may opt out of the future sale of their information to a third party by contacting us as described at the end of this policy.

 

These Sites and Apps are Not Intended For Children

The sites and apps where this Policy appears are meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent or legal guardian and think your child has given us information, you can write to us or email us at the addresses provided at the end of this policy. We use reasonable security measures as required by law. The Internet is not 100% secure. We cannot promise that your use of our sites and apps will be completely safe. We encourage you to use caution, and not to share or reuse passwords.

Information we collect is stored in the United States. You understand that your information will be sent to the United States. If you live outside of the United States and choose to use our sites and apps you agree this is at your own risk. The United States may not afford the same level of protection as laws in your country.
