性別は、Fel d 1の産生と相関関係があることを示す研究があります。


  • 去勢手術を受けていない雄猫は、去勢手術を受けた雄猫や、雌猫(不妊手術の状況と関係なく)と比べて、一般的にFel d 1の産生が多いことが明らかになりました1,6~9
  • ただし、それぞれの猫のFel d 1量は遺伝子によって変化するため、去勢手術を受けていない雄猫が、高いレベルのFel d 1を産生する雌猫や去勢手術を受けた雄猫よりもFel d 1の産生が少ない可能性もあります1,6,8~11
